HanzePay is an independently operating currency broker in the north of the Netherlands, in Zwolle. A major mismatch has arisen between banks and SMEs, whereby SMEs no longer receive the attention they deserve. HanzePay is responding to this to give back the services that the SME was used to. So that all entrepreneurs with questions can turn to a trusted partner.

Which documents do I have to submit?
Unfortunately, we cannot tell you exactly which documents are required in advance. In any case, we need a Chamber of Commerce extract and a color copy of ID/Passport.
How do I add a beneficiary?
You can add beneficiaries in the platform under the heading ”beneficiary”. If you want to add many beneficiaries, please contact us.
What is the difference between SWIFT and SEPA?
SWIFT is used internationally by banks. SEPA is used within Europe
Which account details should I use?
You can find your account details in the platform. You go to ”balance” and click on the currency you need. At the top you will see ”account details”
I sent a transaction to the wrong person?

My company is not based in the EU. Can I do business via HanzePay?
We serve customers worldwide. We have customers in the US, UK, Hong Kong and more. You can easily create an account via the ”homepage”

Do you offer accounts in the UK and US?
HanzePay offers multi-currency accounts in the EU, US, UK and Canada. If you want an account abroad, simply create an account.
What are correspondent banking fees?
When you make international payments, these payments often go through different banks to the beneficiaries. The intervening banks are called correspondent banks. This charges a fee to get your transaction to the beneficiary.
How do I hedge currency risks?
You can reduce your currency risk by means of forward exchange contracts. You know how much USD you Get for X much EUR today for a transaction in the future
How much can I save with HanzePay?
It is difficult to say in advance how much you can save. Banks are not transparent at what costs you can make a conversion. You can contact us and we will calculate this for you in 2 minutes.
How is HanzePay regulated?
HanzePay has a license from the DNB and the FCA through CurrencyCloud BV.
How does a multi-currency account work?
With a multi-currency account, you can receive money in multiple currencies. Within our platform you can easily manage these different currencies and convert them to your main currency.
What are Forward Currency Contracts?
You can hedge the risks of exchange rate fluctuations by means of forward exchange contracts. For example, you fix USD rate today and you will receive this USD in the future. So you already know today how much EUR you have lost for the transaction.
